GLG ANNOUNCES US SHAREHOLDER LAWSUIT DISMISSAL BECOMES FINAL

Vancouver, B.C. March 13, 2014 – GLG Life Tech Corporation (TSX: GLG) (“GLG” or the “Company”), a global leader in the agricultural and commercial development of high quality natural sweeteners, previously announced on February 3, 2014 that it had secured a dismissal with prejudice of a securities class action filed against it and two of its officers (CEO Dr. Luke Zhang and President and CFO Brian Meadows) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The deadline to appeal the judgment entered in favor of the Company and its officers has passed, and the dismissal of this class action has now become final.
