Runde
In December 2006, GLG acquired Qingdao Runde Biotechnology Company Limited ("Runde"), a leading manufacturer of high grade stevia. Runde possesses the technology to extract and refine stevia to levels of RA* 95+. For further information please read our press release.
*RA ratings indicate the level of Rebaudioside A, the pure, sweet component of the stevia leaf, present in the final stevia product.

Yancheng (under construction)
In August 2007, the company broke ground on Yancheng Stevia High Tech Limited "Yancheng", a processing facility in the Jiangsu Province city of Dongtai. The agricultural region around Dongtai is one of the largest and best stevia growing areas in China. The construction of Yancheng is part of an agreement between GLG Life Tech and local governments to exclusively grow and manufacture stevia in these regions. AHTD Bengbu Seed Base
Agricultural High Tech Developments Limited (AHTD) was acquired by GLG in December 2007. Chuzhou (under construction)
